Located 8.6 kilometers upstream of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Baishazhou Yangtze River Bridge features a 26.5-meter-wide deck with six lanes for two-way traffic. This cable-stayed bridge is a combination of a double-tower, double-cable steel box girder and a prestressed concrete box girder structure. Upon its completion, as it stretched across the Yangtze River beneath the blue sky and white clouds, its striking red design captivated Wuhan residents. After more than two decades and several renovations, the bridge remains a vital artery, facilitating cross-river traffic and connecting the Auto Valley (Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone) with Wuchang.
