The Hanjiang Bay AI Industrial Park is one of the first batch of artificial intelligence pilot industrial parks in Wuhan. Located in the core urban area, it enjoys convenient transportation and well-developed supporting facilities. The park covers a planned area of approximately 1,500 mu (100 hectares) and features several functional zones, including a headquarters cluster, intelligent manufacturing zone, innovation and incubation zone, and an industry–research collaboration zone, along with supporting facilities such as talent apartments and hotels. Within a one-kilometer radius, the park, located close to Wuhan Metro Line 1, is surrounded by a wide range of amenities, including educational institutions, medical services, leisure facilities, dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Focusing on functional areas such as the headquarters cluster, intelligent manufacturing zone, and innovation incubation zone, the park targets frontier sectors including healthcare, intelligent manufacturing, fashion consumption, and the low-altitude economy, aiming to build a new landmark for the AI industry.

Focusing on leading companies such as Baidu and Tencent, the park has carried out targeted industrial chain investment promotion, attracting 20 supporting enterprises, including Shanghai Norma and Hengpu Data. It has also facilitated the establishment of Hubei Zhongke Intelligent Vehicle Research Institute Co., Ltd., jointly founded by CLW Group and a district-level state-owned platform, thereby forming an industrial ecosystem characterized by “leading enterprises + supporting partners.” In the area of data development, the park has obtained a Data Asset Registration Certificate issued by Wuhan Yangtze River Big Data Exchange Center. Meanwhile, the Hankou Sub-center of the Yangtze River Big Data Exchange, operated by Wuhan Zhihui Shulian Technology Co., Ltd., has received authorization for data intellectual property operations in the healthcare sector in Hubei Province.

The park has initially established a framework for industrial development. Centered. On key AI production factors — computing power, data, and models — it is developing a Model Innovation Center, Data Elements Center, and Embodied Intelligence Center. Within the next three years, the park aims to become Wuhan’s leading hub for AI innovation, industrial development, and application deployment.
