Wuhan Museum, a national first-grade museum and a 4A-class scenic area in China, has a floor area of over 26,000 square meters and accommodates display areas of 6,000 square meters. It has about 60,000 collections of great variety and over 2,000 great pieces of various types are on display, including articles made by workshops of the Qing Dynasty at the request of the emperor, brilliant works of masters of past dynasties, unearthed objects of high archeological value, and exquisite masterpieces. It offers permanent exhibitions like the Exhibition of Ancient History of Wuhan, the Exhibition of Modern and Contemporary History of Wuhan, the Pottery and Porcelain Art of Ancient China, and the Collection of Historical Relics, and a variety of high-quality temporary exhibition.
