Hubei Provincial Museum, located adjacent to the East Lake, has more than 240,000 collections, including great pieces of the ancient Qujialing culture and Shijiahe culture, the bronzeware from Panlongcheng and the State of Chu and the State of Zeng, and cultural relics from the tomb of Prince Zhuang of Liang, the tomb of Prince Jing of Ying and Wudang Mountain. Collections like the chime-bells and bronze wares from the tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, the Sword of Goujian, the large jade blade of Shang Dynasty unearthed in Panlongcheng, the human skull fossils from Yunxian County, the blue and white plum vase decorated with four-love pictures of Yuan Dynasty, and the golden book of Wudang Mountain enjoy a good reputation in China and the rest of the world.
