China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone Wuhan Area

    Officially launched on April 1st of 2017 with a planned area of 70 square kilometers, the China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone Wuhan Area is the core area of the East-Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and is the largest section and also the full-fledged part of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone. It encompasses seven parks, namely, East Lake Comprehensive Bonded Area, Biolake, Future City, Optics Valley Central City, Optoelectronic Information Industrial Park, Optics Valley Modern Service Industrial Park and Optics Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park. It focuses on the development of strategic emerging industries such as new-generation information technology, life and health and intelligent manufacturing, as well as modern service industries such as international trade, financial services, modern logistics, inspection and testing, R&D and design, information services and professional services.
