The Yangluo Yangtze River Bridge serves as a crucial cross-river link between Xinzhou District and Hongshan District in Wuhan. It is an essential part of the northeastern section of the Wuhan Ring Expressway (G70 Expressway), which links the Beijing-Zhuhai and Shanghai-Chengdu expressways. Together with the upstream Junshan Yangtze River Bridge, it forms Wuhan's 190-kilometer Outer Ring Road. It was then the fourth largest suspension bridge in China.
