
A China-Europe freight train departs from Wuhan on Jan. 1, 2026, bound for Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark
A freight train, fully loaded with fresh air ventilators, departed from Wuhan on Jan. 1, 2026, heading for Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
After leaving China via Alashankou Port in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the train will arrive in Hamburg, Germany, where part of the cargo will be transferred to Copenhagen. The entire journey is expected to take approximately 22 days.
Previously, Wuhan had extended China-Europe freight train service to several Nordic cities, including Helsinki in Finland, Oslo and Moss in Norway, and Gothenburg in Sweden.
So far, Wuhan has established 60 stable China-Europe freight train routes, connecting 121 cities across 40 countries in the Eurasian continent.
