Two hundred students arrived at the Maying River Campus of Wuhan Business University (WBU) in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on July 4 to participate in a five-day experience camp, serving as a precursor to the official opening of the campus this fall, when it will welcome over 3,000 freshmen.

A major highlight of the event is the learning experience, during which instructors conduct lessons in state-of-the-art smart and tiered classrooms while engaging in discussions with students.

Zhao Xinyu, a digital economy major, said, "Each floor has elevators, hot water stations, and restrooms. The classrooms are equipped with brand-new desks, chairs, and multimedia devices. The learning environment is truly excellent!"

The campus also boasts a modern sports complex, featuring dedicated areas for basketball, badminton, and table tennis, along with a dance studio. The facility is equipped with professional non-slip flooring and an intelligent ventilation and lighting system, supporting daily physical education classes, club sports training, and large-scale events such as sports competitions and cultural performances.

Student accommodations include three dormitory buildings with four-person rooms, each equipped with loft beds, desks, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and ample power outlets.

The laundry areas include dryers and shoe washing machines. Each building also offers a one-stop student community, gym, study room, media room, and leisure areas.

Zheng Yaoyuan, a logistics management student, said the dryers and shoe washing machine are extremely convenient and save a lot of time.

The library is equipped with self-service borrowing and returning systems and comprehensive wireless internet, with charging ports and lamps at every desk.
