The Hurun Research Institute has released the "Hurun China Under25s (U25) 2025" list, featuring two young entrepreneurial pioneers from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC): Bing Longzhi, founder of Wuhan MercAllure Technology Co, and Yang Haoran, founder of Wuhan Tongchuang Education Technology Group Co.

The "Hurun China Under25s 2025" list aims to identify pioneering entrepreneurs aged 25 and under. Eligible candidates must have been born after Sept 1, 1999, serve as founders, co-founders, or key executives of a company valued at over $1 million, and have notable social influence.

Bing Longzhi, 25, is the CEO of MercAllure, a company specializing in multimodal AI large models. The core team hails from the National Engineering Research Center for Multimedia Software at Wuhan University and has secured funding from several leading investment institutions.

Yang Haoran, 24, is a graduate of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, which is based in Wuhan. He founded Tongchuang Education in 2021. Its subsidiary, Jinling Learning Society, focuses on AI-driven career and academic planning, covering over 30 universities. The project has secured 10 million yuan ($67.97 million) in angel investment from OVC, with an annual revenue nearing 60 million yuan.

This year, 44 individuals nationwide made the Hurun list, with an average age of just 24. The 2025 list highlights software and services sectors, while showcasing emerging trends in embodied intelligence and AI healthcare. Wuhan ranks fifth among cities with the most honorees.
