The PEACE International Submarine Cable System expansion project, supported by FiberHome with Turnkey services, has commenced operations, deploying 400G ultra-high-speed services across a transcontinental submarine cable network connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe.
This groundbreaking achievement marks a new pinnacle for China's ultra-long-distance optical transmission technology in the international submarine cable arena. It also injects new "Chinese strength" into the interconnectivity of global digital infrastructure.
The project traverses three continents – Asia, Africa, and Europe – and involves cooperation across multiple countries and regions. It faced numerous challenges, including varying customs clearance procedures, differing construction standards, complex data center conditions, and diverse acceptance requirements.
Using its global delivery network and extensive international project management experience, FiberHome achieved synchronized deployment and advancement of data center equipment in Egypt, France, and Singapore.
Following the expansion, the mainline bandwidth capacity of the Singapore-France segment of the PEACE cable system has increased significantly. This enhancement directly supports scenarios such as cross-continental AI computing collaboration, international data exchange, and digital trade connectivity, providing a robust network foundation for constructing the "Digital Silk Road".
FiberHome is headquartered in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) and primarily focuses on optical communications.
