The 49th Summer of Wuhan Cultural Festival kicked off on June 26, 2026, in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Hosted by Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the event will feature nearly 300 cultural activities running through September 30, offering residents and visitors a rich lineup of public cultural events throughout the summer.

"Summer of Wuhan" was launched in 1978 and is one of the city's oldest and most widely participated public cultural events. Every summer, it rolls out a series of cultural activities across the city, including stage performances, evening gatherings, open-air movie screenings, and intangible cultural heritage displays.
