4th Software Innovation Development Conference to open in Wuhan

The 4th Software Innovation Development Conference will be held in Wuhan from June 10 to 11, according to a press conference held by the Wuhan municipal government on June 2, 2026.

Major industry giants including China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Moore Threads, Kingsoft, and KylinSoft have confirmed their attendance, with a total of over 800 participants expected.

The conference will feature one main forum, seven sub-forums, and an exhibition on software innovation achievements. Topics for the main forum will include AI computing power, large model programming, and intelligent software applications. Meanwhile, key research results will be released, and an industrial innovation platform will be launched.

Apart from the main venue in Optics Valley, two sub-venues will be set up in the Dongxihu and Wuchang districts.

Wuhan, the only "China Software City" in Central China, saw its software industry scale exceed 400 billion yuan in 2025, ranking among the top 10 cities nationwide.
