The main towers of the bridge were successfully capped on Tuesday. The Hannan Yangtze River Bridge, designed for a speed of 120 km/h, will serve as the 13th bridge across the Yangtze River in Wuhan. Once open to traffic, it will cut the current 90-minute drive between Hannan District in Wuhan and Jiayu County in Xianning to just five minutes.
