WEDZ hosts intl AI and quadruped robots showcase

The seventh Talent Show of Young Ambassadors for International People-to-People Exchange was held on May 15 in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), focusing on artificial intelligence and quadruped robots.

International students participate in quadruped robot races in WEDZ. 

The event attracted over 600 students and teachers from 45 schools across China and countries such as Kazakhstan and Spain, with the aim of fostering cultural exchange through technology.

The event featured activities such as quadruped robot obstacle races, team relays, and demonstrations of intelligent applications, offering participants a hands-on platform for practice and exchange.

Wuhan University, Jianghan University, and three other universities signed agreements with 14 local primary, secondary, and vocational schools to establish social practice bases to deepen international students' understanding of China.

The first International Cultural Festival was also held, featuring activities including United Nations simulations, English storytelling about Wuhan, and science and culture festivals.

WEDZ has been promoting educational internationalization in recent years and now boasts two international education parks, three schools for children of foreign personnel, and is launching initiatives to build youth international cultural exchange bases.
