"Hankou to Hankou" loop train service launched in Wuhan

The "Hankou to Hankou" loop train went into operation on April 8, 2026, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, starting from and ending at the Hankou Railway Station.

On March 14, the "Wuhandong to Wuhandong" loop train was first launched, with a full-route fare of only six yuan, offering passengers a budget-friendly and convenient way to tour the three towns of Wuhan. The rail service quickly gained sustained popularity due to its low price, easy route, and unique sightseeing experience. In response to strong public demand, the "Wuchang to Wuchang" loop train was added in the city on March 21.

So far, all three major railway stations in Wuhan - the Hankou Railway Station, Wuhandong Railway Station and Wuchang Railway Station - have offered loop train services. With just six yuan, passengers can now complete a trip across the three towns of the city in approximately two hours.
