The 2026 Wuhan Marathon kicked off on the morning of March 22 2026, bringing together 30,000 participants from 69 countries and regions around the world.

This year's event showcases Wuhan's cherry blossoms: 3,500 cherry trees in bloom line the route, including a 760-metre-long avenue in the final stretch.
