East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden opens, kicking off annual cherry blossom season in Wuhan

The East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden officially opened on March 1 this year, kicking off the annual cherry blossom season in Wuhan. Covering an area of approximately 550 mu (about 36.7 hectares), the garden is home to over 10,000 cherry trees. With early, mid, and late blooming varieties, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking blossoms for over a month. Currently, the garden is open daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and the night viewing tours is scheduled to be introduced later.
