The 2026 Dongfeng Yipai Technology Partner Conference was held on Dec 24 in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), bringing together representatives from more than 600 supply chain partners nationwide.
Feng Changjun, general manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with partners to foster a win-win industrial ecosystem. He encouraged partners to share risks and achievements and to work with Yipai Technology to craft a new chapter of high-quality development for China's automotive industry.
In June, Dongfeng Motor consolidated the Yipai, Aeolus, and Nammi brands to form Yipai Technology. As a cornerstone of Dongfeng's passenger vehicle business, Yipai Technology has established a strong product lineup and developed six technological pillars: Quantum Architecture, Mach Power, Design Aesthetics, Perceptual Quality, Tianyuan Intelligent Cabin, and Tianyuan Intelligent Driving.
Yipai Technology's models are now available in over 40 countries and regions worldwide. The company saw a 31 percent year-on-year sales increase from January to November, with models eπ007, eπ008, Nammi 01, and Nammi 06 surpassing a total of 100,000 units sold.
The company has reinforced its role as a vehicle manufacturer by enhancing industrial collaboration with local enterprises. It also contributes to the growth of Hubei's 1 trillion yuan ($142.72 billion) automotive industrial cluster, with 60 percent of its supply chain based in the province.
Wang Junjun, general manager of Yipai Technology, said the company aims to build a more open and collaborative innovation ecosystem by partnering with companies to enhance quality control, accelerate technological innovation, and improve response speed, propelling the automotive industry into a new era.
WEDZ representatives have outlined the area's development trends, industrial layout, and cooperation opportunities, inviting entrepreneurs to partner with the zone to build a secure and efficient supply chain.
The zone is committed to supporting Dongfeng and Yipai Technology, acting as a solid foundation for their growth and fully backing Yipai Technology's evolution into a billion-yuan enterprise.
Yipai Technology representatives presented reports on procurement and quality, production and logistics, and business and research at the conference, honored outstanding partners with awards, and issued a call for integrity, advocating for a cooperative relationship that is both close and transparent.
