The entry and exit trips at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport Port of the year exceeded 1.5 million on Dec. 25, 2025, increasing 19.34 percent year on year, Wuhan Immigration inspection Station reported.

The figure reached a new record over the past five years.

In 2025, the airport launched 22 international passenger routes with more than 170 weekly inbound and outbound flights, connecting 15 countries and regions across four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Flights to popular destinations such as Moscow, Hanoi, and Phnom Penh have been added or increased, amounting to eight round trips per week. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
