OVC welcomes new youth apartment complex

A new youth apartment complex, Zhiyu Yunchuang, has opened in the second phase of the Bio-Innovation Park in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), with 784 units now available for lease.

The apartments are conveniently located near Guanggu Shengwuyuan Station on Metro Line 11 and offer underground parking, catering to employees in Biolake, Optics Valley Central City, and nearby industrial parks.

Zhiyu Yunchuang is a government-supported rental housing project. Monthly rents for single units range from 1,350 yuan ($190) to 2,020 yuan, while loft units are priced between 1,810 yuan and 2,580 yuan. Each unit is fully furnished with essential appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines. The complex also features shared spaces, including a lounge, gym, library, and cafe, making it easy for residents to move in.

The surrounding area offers a 15-minute convenience circle, with amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets, auto services, and pharmacies, as well as large shopping centers and top-tier hospitals, all within a 15-minute bike ride. The area is also well-equipped with educational facilities, including kindergartens and primary, middle, and high schools, providing a comprehensive educational system.

OVC currently includes 95 projects similar to Zhiyu Yunchuang under the government-supported rental housing initiative, offering young residents nearly 74,000 units. Next year, new projects such as Zhiyu Guochuang and Zhiyu International Community will add approximately 2,100 more units to the zone.
