Lei Jun, chairman of Kingsoft Software and founder and CEO of Xiaomi, stated that the combined workforce of Xiaomi and Kingsoft Software in Wuhan has reached 9,500 people and this number is expected to approach 10,000 by the end of this year. Both Kingsoft and Xiaomi will exceed 10,000 employees within the next three to five years. Kingsoft's Wuhan headquarters has experienced rapid growth, emerging as one of the largest R&D centers within the company.
