The Second Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge celebrates its 30th anniversary of official opening on June 18, 2025. The bridge ended the situation that the three towns of Wuhan was connected by only one bridge, forming an inner ring road spanning over 20 kilometers for the city. Thirty years on, skyscrapers now line both banks of the Yangtze River, and the city has undergone remarkable changes. The Second Yangtze River Bridge stands as a witness to the rise of this megacity.
