Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, recorded an 83-percent growth in inbound travel orders in this summer travel surge, according to data provided by Ctrip, China's most popular online travel platform.

The inbound travel surge was due in part to the increase in the number of countries enjoying China's 144-hour visa-free transit policy.

Apart from the Yellow Crane Tower, one of Wuhan’s landmark buildings, the foreign tourists prefer a night tour on the Yangtze River. The cruise ship "Zhiyin Hao" sailing on the river has received more foreigners.

The tourist attractions in Wuhan offered a series of special services to welcome foreign tourists during the period, including accepting payment by foreign card at the ticket counter and booking tickets online with passport or permanent residence permit.
