The 8th Ministerial on Climate Action (MoCA) took place in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, on July 22-23, 2024.

Ministerial-level representatives from nearly 30 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Hungary, France, the United States, India, Brazil, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, attended the meeting.

Themed with strengthening global climate action and implementing the goals of the Paris Agreement, the meeting comprehensively summarized the outcomes of COP28, held in-depth discussions on major issues involved in COP29 and COP30, and exchanged views on strengthening international cooperation and promoting energy transition.
