CCID Research Institute released its latest assessment report on China's big data regional development on August 3, 2023, pointing out that the scale of China's big data industry in 2022 reached 1.57 trillion yuan ($217.99 billion), an increase of 18 percent. The scale expansion is an important force to push the development of the digital economy. The institute estimated that by 2025, the scale of China's big data industry will break 3 trillion yuan.
