Passengers walk and wait in the Hankou Railway Station in Wuhan City as summer vacation came to the end on August 17, 2023. Since mid-August, the railway station has witnessed surging passenger flows with a daily passenger trips of more than 200,000. It has handled a total of nearly 10 million trips since the summer travel peak started on July 1.
