The groundbreaking ceremony for the major construction projects of the Wuhan New City was held at the construction venue of the new city's civic center on June 6.

This time, the projects launched feature large investment scales covering a range of comprehensive services, including building a civic center, an international conference and exposition center, and two parks. The total investment for these projects topped RMB 30 billion ($4.23 billion), with RMB 9 billion for this year.
