Recently, Assistant Foreign Minister Hua Chunying shared a video of the Optics Valley suspended monorail (also known as "sky train") in Wuhan on her Twitter account, accompanied by "When sci-fi movie becomes reality — the 'Optics Valley Photon' air rail train of Wuhan recently had its test run."

This post has over 400,000 views, with netizens from all over the world expressing their astonishment and admiration for China's technology and Wuhan's scientific achievements.

The sky train has become popular overseas. On April 24, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin also shared a video of the train on his social media account. In the video, the train seems like a "stroll in the air" which makes people feel like being in a science fiction world.

Overseas social media accounts such as People's Daily, CGTN, Economic Daily, China, Optics Valley of China, and Pakistani digital creator Mujeeb Rehman Abro have all shared photos and videos about the Optics Valley sky train in Wuhan.

On Instagram, the trial run has also become a trending topic and garnered widespread praise from overseas netizens.
Utilizing magnetic levitation technology and energy-efficient and eco-friendly mechanisms, the suspended monorail runs underneath the elevated bridge. This allows it to occupy minimal space while significantly reducing traffic congestion. Previously, foreign media such as the Latin American News Agency, the Elparis. cr and the Así Somos have covered the sky train.

The sky train has already attracted many likes on the "Discover Wuhan" account and has even been featured on the homepage of YouTube, receiving over 1 million views in just 5 days. Recently, "Discover Wuhan" also posted a video on the test run of sky train. Laetitia Bernard Granger from France who is now living in Wuhan left a comment asking if the sky train is currently open or still in trial operation.
The futuristic "sky train" has garnered a wave of creative appreciation from overseas netizens, with comments such as "the future is now" and "I need to experience this." Let's take a look at some of the responses from foreign social media users:
