Full speed ahead in Wuhan

Three years ago, Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, was the main battleground for China's war against the novel coronavirus. As a result of the optimization of COVID-19 measures, the city has regained its former vitality and glamor. China Daily photographer Zhu Xingxin, who covered Wuhan's fight against the virus during its lockdown in 2020, recently returned to the city to record scenes of bustling city life through his photos.
