On Feb. 10, the Busch Group, a German-funded leading company in the vacuum industry, signed a project investment agreement to build the Asia-Pacific production and sales base of vacuum equipment in the Sino-German International Industrial Park in Caidian District. As its largest overseas investment project and its first production base in China, this project is an important strategic step for the Busch Group in the Chinese marketplace.
Sami Busch, the owner and co-CEO of Busch Group, said that consultations with other German-funded companies in the industrial park regarding the excellent investment atmosphere and business environment in Caidian District gave the company the confidence to invest in Wuhan. Wuhan's excellent geographical conditions, transportation advantages, as well as the presence of a large number of universities and research institutes are other reasons for their decision.
Busch's project in the industrial park, which is expected to be put into operation this year, will create about 400 jobs in Wuhan.
