The Wuhan Art Museum (Qintai) has become a new cultural landmark in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.
Since the museum opened to the public on Dec. 28, 2022 with the launch of Wuhan Biennale, it has attracted more than 100,000 visitors so far.
Covering a total construction area of 43,000 square meters, the museum consists of two floors and a basement with four exhibition halls. It will be an important artistic complex in the city, along with the Qintai Grand Theater and the Qintai Concert Hall.
Under the theme of "Communication through Art", the Wuhan Biennale has exhibited 446 art works by 285 artists from home and abroad. The event is scheduled to last from December 2022 to May 2023. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
