Jianghan 10th Bridge under construction

The Jianghan 10th Bridge construction project officially began on Jan. 29.

As a major artery line over the Han River to connect Caidian, Hanyang and Qiaokou districts, the bridge and roadway runs for 4.012 km from the intersection of Baiwei Road and Shihu Road in Hanyang to the intersection of Gutian No. 1 Road and Changyun Road in Qiaokou. The bridge is 41.5 meters wide with three lanes in each direction. Scheduled to open for traffic in 2025, the bridge will improve the transportation conditions in the Qiaokou and Huangjinkou areas across the Han River and ease the traffic pressure on the nearby Changfeng and Gutian bridges.

The aesthetics of the bridge feature arches like a rainbow of steel poles, assembled neatly in shape, with feather-like intertwined decorations.
