First Wuhan-made A-type metro train rolls off the production line

First Wuhan-made A-type metro train rolled off the production line in Jiangxia District of Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, on Aug. 10, 2016.

 

The train, which will be used on Wuhan Metro Line 6, features the color of parrot green, and is longer and larger compared with previous B-type subway trains adopted by Wuhan Metro Line 1, 2, 3 and 4. According to sources, A-type train, which consists of six cars (4 powered+2 motorless), will also be used for Wuhan Metro Line 7, 8, 11, 21, etc.

 

With a total length of 35.95 km, Line 6 is the second subway in Wuhan to cross the Hanjiang River as well as the longest line under construction in Wuhan.
