More than 80 species of tropical orchids from more than ten countries and regions, including Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, are now on display at the Wuhan Botanical Garden.

The flower exhibition was kicked off on the first day of just-ended New Year’s Day holiday (December 30, 2017) and will last until mid-March.

Compared to local orchids, tropical orchids often have brighter colors and larger flowers. The exhibited orchids range from Cattleya Hybrida, Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium nobile, Vanda, Renanthera coccinea Lour, Paphiopedilum armeniacum, Paphiopedilum wardii, to Epidendrum polybulbon etc. (hubei.gov.cn)
