2019 Hanzheng Street International Fashion Industry Summit held

On August 25, the 2019 Hanzheng Street International Fashion Industry Summit was held in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.
It brought together government officials from Wuhan and Seoul, heads of the Fashion Associations of China and South Korea, top Chinese and South Korean fashion designers, well-known entrepreneurs, experts and scholars to offer suggestions and ideas on how to develop the Hanzheng Street and the fashion industry in Wuhan.
During the summit, the China Fashion Association, Yosun Industrial Development Group and South Korea Fashion Association inked a framework agreement on promoting exchanges and cooperation of fashion industries between Chinese and South Korean designers, with the aim to enhance the ties of fashion industry between the two countries taking Hanzheng Street as the center.
The agreement says that Yosun will act as the organizer to gear up friendly exchanges and sustainable development of fashion, fashion industry and fashion talents between the three parties. In the future, the three will share fashion resources and information, support the growth, employment, entrepreneurship, overseas expansion of fashion talents, provide aid to the publicity, marketing and promotion of fashion designers as well as conduct Chinese and Korean designer fashion shows, designer contests, buyer matchmaking and fashion designer exchange projects.
In 2017, Wuhan was designated the UNESCO City of Design. As the fashion hub of the city, Hanzheng Street has been committed to developing a new fashion industry with clothing as the leader.
