First China (Wuhan) Culture and Tourism Expo to inaugurate on Nov. 26

The first China (Wuhan) Culture and Tourism Expo will take place in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Provincefrom Nov. 26th to 28th.

Highlighting the integration and innovation of culture, tourism + science and technologyand  "culture, tourism + traditional formats", the expo will set up eight major exhibition areas, a central stage, a culture and tourism fair and several trade fairs on a total area of 60,000 square meters.

Four main events, including a city promotion event, a forum, a trade and investment conference, and a series of other activitieswill be organized during the expo.

At present, preparations for the exhibition have been basically in place. More than 1,000 cultural and tourism enterprises and organizationsfrom home and abroad, tourism authorities and international tourism organizations from 15 countries including the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand and the Tea Road International Tourism Alliancewill participate in the expo.

The expo, to be held every two years, is jointly hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Hubei provincial government.
