China-Europe freight trains make 38 trips from Wuhan this year so far
A freight train, loaded with more than 500 tons of auto parts, communication products, clothes, and epidemic prevention materials, departed from Wujiashan Station in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, on April 3, 2021.
It will leave the country through Alataw Pass and then arrive in Duisburg, Germany after a few days.
The departure of the train marked the 38th trip made by China-Europe freight trains from Wuhan, which doubles the number over the same period of 2020 and outnumbers the same period of 2019.
According to schedule, freight trains will also be sent out on April 5, 7, 8 and 10 from Wuhan, heading for Europe. 420 round trips are expected to be made throughout the year.
