Wuhan sees rebound in air trips

Flight volume and passenger flow are rebounding significantly at the Wuhan Tianhe Airport, according to Hubei Airport Group on January 11, 2023.

51,000 passenger trips were made at the airport on Jan. 10, which marked the first day exceeding 50,000 trips after August 18, 2022.

Wuhan has added 1,000 flights during the Spring Festival holiday, linking with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Haikou, Sanya, Wenzhou and other popular destinations. At the same time, new flights from Wuhan to Phnom Penh, Tokyo and Macao will open or resume in January, with one flight every week.
